Let's Go to Kindergarten Camp
•August 10-13
Camp will run on August 10-13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All students MUST be registered as a kindergarten student in PASD for the 2026-27 school year before they can attend Let's Go to Kindergarten Camp. The registration must be fully complete with no outstanding paperwork by midnight, July 17, 2026. Students who are not full registered by this date will not be able to attend camp.

If you are registering multiple children, please complete a separate form for each child. The camp is FREE to attend.

Back to School Open House

PAELC/Manavon, Barkley, Schuylkill, Hares Hill
•August 19, 2026
Grades K-1:     5:00-6:30 p.m.
Grades 2-6:      6:00-7:30 p.m.
Stop by and meet your teacher before the big day! Each building will be open from 6-7:30 p.m. There is no formal presentation. Each building will also hold a “marketplace” for information on various back to school needs. Parents and students are welcome to attend.

•September 4 - Schools Closed
•September 7 - District Closed - Labor Day

If you are unable to afford school supplies, please contact your school office at 484-927-5450. PCEF donates fully-stocked backpacks for families who cannot afford school supplies. 



Supply List: Kindergarten

Note:  Do not label individual items except for headphones & lunch box.

Sturdy backpack without wheels (Size of backpack must be able to accommodate a 9” x 12” folder.) 
One set of over the ear headphones in a Ziploc bag labeled with child’s name (no ear buds, no wireless)
One sturdy plastic pencil box (5” x 8”) labeled with child’s name  
Two dozen Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils (sharpened if possible)
One 12-count box of Crayola colored pencils
One 10-count box of Crayola washable markers
Four 24-count boxes of standard sized Crayola crayons
Two 4-packs or one 8-pack of Expo Dry Erase board markers – black only 
Two 2-pocket folders (1 red, 1 yellow)
Two 8-pack of glue sticks 
One pair of children’s Fiskar scissors
Three containers of Play-doh (4 oz)
One roll of paper towels
Two boxes of tissues
Two containers of anti-bacterial wipes
Two containers of hand sanitizer
Optional: lunch box for snack and/or lunch

Note: Please put all items in one bag labeled with your child’s name. Teachers may request additional supplies as needed through the year.

Last name A-M: either one snack size or sandwich size box of Ziploc bags / Last name N-Z: one gallon size box of Ziploc bags
One black & white composition book
