Car Riders

  • Drivers enter the parking lot from Pothouse Road and stay to the right following signs to loop around to the car lane.
  • Doors open at 8:40am and staff members will be waiting on the sidewalk to greet students.
  • Drivers should not be on their cell phones during drop off in order to facilitate a safe and speedy drop off.
  • Students can only exit a car if the car has reached the sidewalk area.
  • Drivers may not pass other cars. Stay behind the car in front of you.
  • Students arriving after 8:55 will be considered late and will need to report directly to the main entrance with their parent/guardian to sign in.

Walkers

  • Lincoln Avenue Walkers: Students enter the school campus at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and City Line Avenue, walk on the sidewalk through the administration building and the middle school and continue along the sidewalk around the middle school stopping at the sidewalk before crossing the bus loop lane. At that point, a staff member will be waiting to escort students into school. Students arriving after 8:55 will be considered late and will need to walk around the building to the front door. They will report directly to the main entrance with their parent/guardian to sign in.
  • Pothouse Road Walkers: Students enter the campus at the light on Pothouse Road. Students arriving after 8:55 will be considered late and will need to report directly to the main entrance with their parent/guardian to sign in.

Bus Riders

  • Buses will unload at 8:40 from the bus loop at the rear entrance of the building and staff members will supervise students as they enter the building.

Car Riders

  • Drivers enter the parking lot from Pothouse Road and stay to the right following signs to loop around to the car lane.
  • Dismissal will begin at 3:30 pm and ends at 3:55 pm.
  • Please be aware of the staff members on duty. Staff members are working to make sure everyone is safe. Please adhere to their directions and stay attentive while in the car rider line.
  • Drivers should not be on their cell phones when picking up their child.
  • Dismissal placards will be provided for all families to use in the event your child is a car rider.
    • This placard will have a number on it that is assigned to your child.
    • Display the placard on the passenger side visor or hang it from the rearview mirror.
  • Drivers may not pass other cars. Stay behind the car in front of you.

Walkers

  • Lincoln Avenue Walkers: A staff member will supervise students as they cross the bus loop to get to the middle school property.
    • Independent Walker: students will walk independently through the middle school and high school campus to their destination.
    • Parent Pick Up Walker: student will meet their parent/guardian on the PAMS side of the bus loop.
      • Dismissal placards should be visible to staff to receive your child.
  • Pothouse Road Walkers: A staff member will collect the Pothouse Road walkers in the front main lobby. A staff member walks students across both crosswalks in the car loop to the sidewalk.
    • Independent Walker: students walk the rest of the way independently.
    • Parent Pick Up Walker: student will meet their parent/guardian on the corner where the car loop turns right.
      • Dismissal placards should be visible to staff to receive your child.

Bus Riders

  • All students will walk independently to their bus.
  • Safeties will assist in monitoring the bus dismissal procedures.
  • Staff members will supervise the bus loop area as students board the buses.
